AA License25 jumps⌄

Complete 25 jumps.
Pass the A-License check dive with a USPA Instructor.
Pass the A-License written exam with at least 75%.

Exit and freefall skills

Exit safely; maintain awareness, stability and altitude awareness; initiate deployment.
AFF/tandem: deployment within 1,000 ft of assigned altitude. IAD/static line: exit on command.
Maintain stability and leg control; practice deployment. AFF/tandem: pull within 500 ft of assigned altitude.
IAD/static line: three successful practice pulls on each of three consecutive jumps.
Regain control within five seconds; fall relaxed, hold heading, wave off and deploy stably at assigned altitude.
Solo exit: stable within five seconds. Complete four 90° turns (±20°), two 180° and two 360° turns (±45°).
Complete a barrel roll, back loop and front loop; recover intentional instability within five seconds twice with an instructor before self-supervision.
Complete three tracking sequences within 30° of heading; clear-and-pull jumps at 5,500 ft and 3,500 ft.
Twice approach and dock from 10 ft using start/coast/stop; twice dock while adjusting level. Match levels 6 ft up and down.
Break off at altitude without prompting; track 50 ft within 10° of heading.
Twice dive to a dock using a stair-step approach; break off unprompted; track 100 ft within 10°.

Emergency procedures

Rehearse emergency procedures in a training harness; review two-canopy situations.
Review off-field, downwind and high-wind landings, turbulence and obstacle avoidance.
Review landings involving buildings, power lines, trees and water, including flotation equipment.
Review aircraft emergencies and an open parachute inside the aircraft.

Canopy flight skills

Review surface/upper winds; plan the holding area and landing pattern with assistance.
Practice parachute landing falls (PLFs); fly an assisted pattern and complete the flare.
Assisted landing: within 330 ft of target and 60° of the planned heading.
Review winds, assisted pattern planning, runway traffic, turn clearance and the flight cycle; practice PLFs.
Assisted pattern and full flare; PLF; land within 330 ft and 30° of the planned heading.
Plan the pattern and wind adjustments; review wing loading, downwind landings, turbulence and the flight cycle.
Review off-field landing choices by 2,000 ft and obstacle avoidance.
Perform the flight-cycle drill, pattern and full flare with minimal assistance; practice PLF.
Report winds; plan spotting, drift, opening point, holding area and pattern; review cloud clearance and building landings.
Observe jump run and select a target; fly the pattern and land within 165 ft with assistance.
Perform two 90° rear-riser turns with brakes stowed and two with brakes released.
Report winds; plan spotting, exit separation, drift, opening point, pattern and traffic avoidance; choose a target.
Participate in jump run using S.P.A.C.E.; practice flare sweet spot and toggle stall point above 2,500 ft.
Make two unassisted landings within 165 ft of target.
Report winds; plan spot, separation, drift, opening point, holding area, pattern and target; spot with minimal help.
Complete four 90° braked turns and two half-braked flares; make two unassisted landings within 82 ft.
Report winds; plan spot, separation, drift, opening point, pattern and target; spot with minimal help.
Adjust glide path; perform four turn reversals above 2,500 ft; make two unassisted landings within 65 ft.
Report winds; plan spot, separation, drift, opening point, holding area, pattern and target; spot unassisted.
Complete two low-turn recovery drills and three unassisted landings within 65 ft.
Before downsizing: stable final approach, correctly timed full flare, soft landings/PLF and wind-adjusted patterns within 65 ft of target.

Equipment skills

Observe preflight equipment and AAD checks; conduct four gear checks and inspect another jumper’s gear.
Identify equipment components, their functions and possible malfunctions; review maintenance.
Pack the main canopy with assistance, then without assistance.
Replace a closing loop and assemble the three-ring system.

Aircraft and skydiving knowledge

Review aircraft traffic/runways, cloud clearance, aircraft weight and balance, and SHAGG.
Complete exit/freefall training, read SIM Categories A–H and pass each category quiz.
If transitioning from tandem, complete the solo-transition course after Category A or B.
Pass the A-License oral exam with 100%.
Keep USPA membership current and in good standing.
Become familiar with the SIM and Governance Manual §1-6.

BB License50 jumps⌄

Hold A License or satisfy its current requirements; pass lower-license exams.
Log 50 jumps and 30 minutes of controlled freefall.
Make 10 landings within 10 m (33 ft) of target center.
Complete planned formations on 10 formation or formation-freefly jumps; five must include at least three people.
Document live water-landing training in full equipment under SIM procedures.
Finish the B-License Canopy Proficiency Card, signed by an S&TA, Examiner or board member.
Pass the B written exam with at least 75%.

Canopy Proficiency Card

Dedicated clear-and-pull jumps from at least 5,000 ft AGL, directly supervised by the course director. Official training sign-offs are required.

Jump 1: Braked turns, accuracy & flare evaluation

Collapse slider; loosen chest strap.
Check steering-line length in full flight, brakes released.
Practice canopy-specific flares.
Practice braked turns.
Fly a landing pattern and land.

Jump 2: Flight cycle & crosswind landing

Practice flight-cycle exercises.
Practice flares from brakes.
Perform a crosswind landing.

Jump 3: Stalls

Above decision altitude: toggle stalls and rear-riser stalls.
Practice three-quarter-braked turns.
Select a target; fly downwind, base and final into wind.

Jump 4: Rear-riser turns & flares

Rear-riser turns: brakes stowed.
Rear-riser turns: brakes released, toggles held.
Rear-riser flares: brakes released, toggles held.

Jump 5: Long spot

Exit at 5,000 ft AGL, at least 1.5 miles upwind of the landing area.
Identify the projected landing point (stationary in view).
Compare glide using brakes and rear risers.
If the planned pattern is unreachable, select an alternate by 2,000 ft AGL.
Select a target; fly downwind, base, final; follow landing priorities.

Log 200 jumps and 60 minutes of controlled freefall.
Make 25 landings within 2 m (7 ft) of target center.
Complete 50 successful formation or formation-freefly jumps; ten must include at least four people.
Pass the C written exam with at least 75%.

Hold C License or satisfy its current requirements; pass lower-license exams.
Log 500 jumps and three hours of controlled freefall.
Pass the D written exam with at least 75%.

Two requirements from the following list

100 landings within 2 m (7 ft) of target center.
100 successful formation jumps; 25 with at least eight people.
A night jump following SIM recommendations.
A full rotation in a canopy stack of three or more, returning to the starting position.
An intentional water jump.

D exam: current S&TA, Examiner, Judge Examiner or board member. D logbook verification: S&TA or board member.

צניחות יציאה־פתיחה מגובה 5,000 רגל מעפ״ש לפחות, במסגרת הקורס ובהדרכת מנהל הקורס. התרגולים מעל 2,500 רגל, למעט החריגים שבאוגדן. נדרשות חתימות בטופס הרשמי.
